I used to want to lead, want to influence want to impact. I want to see a bunch of people following me thinking like me learning from me.
But spiritual leadership struck me. Because the spiritual leader is someone who never wants to lead never wants to be the center of attraction of having the feeling of control of others to live in the security of the respect of others.
The spiritual leader is so compelled by his love for God that he feels almost happy to lay down his life to serve others even whether or not he gets the respect he gets the praise he gets the acknowledgment
When one gives. does he expect anything back? Does he do it to deposit tokens to improve the "i like him" meter of the person he is trying to lead?
or just give for the Lord's sake.
I can only see myself doing most of what i now see as a fallible plan for a leader. I can only serve to love to Love like christ did and when christ loved the people he loved killed him.
